Dan Hughes co-founded Claritee in 2000 and has more than 16 years experience helping clients improve the efficiency of their financial operations through business process reengineering, implementation of financial systems, and the development of sophisticated analytical reporting applications. Dan has provided his expertise to a diverse set of Fortune 1000 clients in industries such as healthcare, financial services and distribution/logistics.
Prior to founding Claritee, Dan served as a management consultant and financial statement auditor at Arthur Andersen’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. He also worked as an independent project manager on large-scale Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations.
Dan offers clients a deep understanding of how to implement and sustain successful business intelligence solutions.
Dan earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University. He is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served onboard a nuclear submarine. He is a board member of the Pennsylvania Medical Group Management Association (PAMGMA) and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Dan is a published author and speaker on topics related to healthcare business intelligence.
Ken Jones, Managing Director
Ken Jones co-founded Claritee in 2000 and has more than 20 years experience creating software solutions for clients in the financial services, healthcare and telecommunications industries. Ken has extensive experience as a developer, technical architect, and project manager for a wide variety of system implementations spanning all areas of transaction processing and decision support applications.
Prior to founding Claritee, Ken served as an independent consultant, a systems engineer and manager at EDS, and as a senior consultant with Andersen Consulting, now Accenture.
Ken offers clients the solid software engineering background and discipline required to create quality, real-world solutions. His passion is developing solutions that help users at all levels measure and understand their business.
Ken earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from James Cook University in North Queensland, Australia. He is a member of the Data Warehousing Institute. Ken is a published author and contributor to industry journals.
